Cindy is preceded in death by her parents, Teddy and Dot Curan. She is survived by her husband Lowell Thompson, her son Daniel Thompson and (Holly Hill) of Calhoun City, MS, her three grandsons, Aaron, Joshua, and Caleb Thompson also of Calhoun City and her sisters Bonnie Gammill (Wilson) of Northport, AL and Connie Malone (Kenny) of Sturgis, MS.
She faithfully served the public as Customer Service Representative for Bancorpsouth in Starkville.
She was member of a small house church, The Chapel. She will be greatly missed by her church, which had become a part of her family.
Cindy was known for her infectious laugh. She loved everyone and enjoyed her family with fervency. She always had an ear for listening, putting into practice the instructions from the Word of God, “everyone must be quick to hear, slow to speak and slow to anger.” She was not perfect but she exemplified the simple faith and joy that all believers are to have in their Lord Jesus.
She was married to Lowell for almost 41 years. She was a devoted wife and mother, again, exemplifying the life of Christ in her daily walk with her family.
The Lord opened the door of grace to her many years ago where she was finally able to trust in Jesus wholly and fully and where He began to lead her in the life of joy we all knew her to have. We are excited to have her cross over to an everlasting life with the Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and God the Father along with the many friends and family who have gone on before her.
It is the family’s request for charitable donations to be made to Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo, MS.
