MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The Mississippi State offense has been thrown back into the fire in the first three bowl practices at Rhodes College.
The Bulldogs are gearing up for a clash with the Rice Owls (10-3), who won Conference USA in the AutoZone Liberty Bowl on Tuesday. MSU (6-6) arrived in Memphis on Thursday and have gotten three practices in.
State spent a week practicing back in Starkville before going home for Christmas. A good bit of the gameplan was installed before the players left, but the Bulldogs have been getting back in the groove of things the last few days.
“It’s been good,” sophomore quarterback Dak Prescott said. “It’s been fun and it’s just a good view out there.”
