Jamarcus Bradley’s time is now.
After patiently waiting the last couple of years, the junior is finally assuming his role as the starting quarterback for the Choctaw County Chargers.
“It means everything to me,” Bradley said. “I have been waiting for this spot for two years. I had to sit back and watch my good friend Dakota Brasher play and help him out. Now it is my time to step up to the plate.”
Despite his only moving up to the starting role this season, Bradley’s coach sees maturity in the junior that is well beyond his years.
“He has a good head on his shoulders, (and) real mature for his age,” Choctaw County coach Adam Dillinger said. “He has always been that way and that is what makes him such a good leader.
“He has played a lot of ball. He played as a freshman and sophomore so he has a lot of games and a lot of experience.”
