Kayla Mosley says her Starkville Academy softball team is “taking steps forward,” but unfortunately the Lady Volunteers just can not “put it all together” during a game.
Monday afternoon they gave up a 14-1 contest to a tough Washington School.
“We made too many mental errors,” Mosley said. “You start making mental errors and it can go bad quick. I thought at times they made good plays defensively, but overall, we were not mentally in the game. We are taking steps forward. We just have to put it all together at some point.”
