Mrs. Myra Loretta Browning of Starkvile, 78, died Friday, Feb. 15, 2013 at St. Francis Hospital in Memphis, Tenn.
Graveside services will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2013 in Delta Heights Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Cleveland with Rev. Barry Dickerson officiating.
Ray Funeral Home of Cleveland is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Browning was born in Memphis, Tenn. on May 30, 1934, to John Miles Bennett and Ruby Celeste Stroupe Bennett. In June, 1956, she married Donald E. “Jack” Browning in Greenville. She worked as an executive assistant at M&F Bank and retired after 20 years of service. She loved to knit, paint, craft, and shop.
Mrs. Browning is survived by her son, Don Browning of Orlando, Fla.; and daughter, Chris Browning Morse of Columbia, S.C.
She is preceded in death by her parents, John Miles Bennett and Ruby Celeste Stroupe Bennett; husband, Donald E. “Jack” Browning; and brother, James Milton Bennett.
Pallbearers will be Wes Davis, Nick Browning, John Bennett, Jimmy Morse, Anthony Lane and John Bellinger.
