A 20-year old Mississippi State University student is in custody in Franklin County, Wash. after allegedly threatening to shoot a police officer during a traffic stop.
After being reported missing for just over 24 hours, Starkville Police Department was notified that James Thomas Hall, 20, of Huntsville, Ala. was in police custody in the town of Connell, Wash. According to an SPD release, Hall was pulled over for running a stop sign when the officer noticed a sawed off shotgun in Hall's lap, pointed toward the driver's side window. After allegedly telling the officer he was planning to shoot him, Hall was arrested for second degree assault. His initial appearance is scheduled for later today in Franklin.
