HAMILTON – Deangelo Liggins scored two touchdowns and the East Webster Wolverines rolled to a 24-0 win over Hamilton Friday night.
Liggins found McKinley Hollenhead for a 32-yard passing score. He caught a 27-yard strike from Jack Wilson.
Liggins finished the night with 44 yards rushing. He also completed 4-of-6 passes for 60 yards.
The Wolverines improved to 8-2 overall and 3-1 in Class 2A, Region 2, District 1.
They host Eupora next Friday night to close out the regular season.
Ackerman 44, J.Z. George 0
NORTH CARROLTON – Jarmacus Bradley put the ball in the end zone twice as the Indians cruised to another victory.
The sophomore punched it in from 4 yards out and then from 40 yards out to help Ackerman to a 38-0 halftime lead.
The Indians scored late in the game to cap the scoring.
Ackerman is now 7-3 for the season and 3-1 in Class 2A, Region 2, District 1 action.
The Indians host Hamilton to end the season next Friday night.

Hebron Christian 12
PHEBA – The Hebron Christian Eagles saw their final record fall to 8-2 with the loss at home.
Taylor Coggins led the Eagles with 110 yards and a touchdown, while Starkville resident Will Corben Rogers tossed a 5-yard touchdown pass to Andrew Myatt.
Eupora 55, Williams Sullivan 0
DURANT – Lamontae Salley had a rushing score and an interception return for a score as the Eagles got a big win.
Salley scored from 30 yards out on the ground and returned an interception 20 yards for a score.
Eupora improved to 9-1 for the season and 4-0 in Class 2A, Region 1, District 1.
The Eagles go for the district title next Friday night at East Webster.
