Elder and Mrs. Charles L. Mobley of Starkville are pleased to announce the engagement and upcoming wedding of their daughter, Scharlette Lenita Mobley, to Mr. Lekeith Bernard Terrell, son of the late Mr. Leo Terrell II and the late Alice Terrell of Bogue Chitto.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Elvie Mobley and the late Gamus Mobley of Starkville, MS, and Fannie Anderson and the late Ben Anderson of Durant, MS. She is a 1999 graduate of Starkville High School and a graduate of Mississippi State University where she received her bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry. Miss Mobley graduated from Mississippi College with a master’s degree in Biomedical Sciences. She is currently employed as a Pharmacy Technology Program Director for Education Affiliates, Inc.
The prospective groom is the grandson of Mammie Porter and the late Jimmy Porter, and the late Leo and Clementine Terrell of Bogue Chitto, MS. He was Salutatorian of the class of 2002 at West Lincoln High School. He graduated from Mississippi State University where he received his bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering. He received his master’s degree from Louisiana State University in Biological Engineering. The groom is currently pursuing his doctoral degree in Biological Engineering from LSU.
Vows will be exchanged on Saturday, June 30, 2012 at noon at the Chapel of Memories located on the campus of MSU in Starkville. Pastor James R. Barrett Sr. of Baton Rouge, LA will officiate. A reception will follow at the First United Methodist Church Christian Life Center. Family and friends are invited to attend.
