The Starkville Academy baseball team will have to wait a few more days to see if it will win a State championship.
Saturday's game two against Magnolia Heights in the MAIS Class AAA, Division II State championship series was postponed due to inclement weather.
It will now be played Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. in Starkville with an if necessary game to follow.
The Chiefs lead the series 1-0 after they won the first game in Senatobia 1-0.
"It doesn't really hurt or help us," SA head coach Neal Henry said. "Rain is just a part of baseball. You have to come out and play the same way the next day."
