Mr. John Michael Young, Sr., 57, of Starkville passed away at his residence on Sunday, April 15, 2012.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence William Young and Elsie Whatley.
Mr. Young is survived by his wife, Valeri Trettner Young of Starkville; daughter, Charlee Young of Starkville; son, John Michael Young Jr. (Whitney) of Ft. Stewart, Ga.; and brother, Lawrence William Young Jr. (Bud) of Senatobia.
Visitation will be held 2-3 p.m. Sunday, April 22, 2012 at Welch Funeral Home in Starkville.
