Dorothy Virginia Maslin

Dorothy Virginia Maslin, 88, died on September 15, 2011 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Columbus, Mississippi after a brief illness. Mrs. Maslin was long-time resident of the Baltimore and Annapolis Maryland area and was residing at The Arrington in Columbus, Mississippi at the time of her death.
She was born in Jarrettsville in Harford County, Maryland to Howard and Bessie Knopp McCallister on June 4, 1923 and was a 1943 graduate of the University of Maryland. She was a member of St. Paul's Anglican Church of Crownsville, Maryland, the Corinthian Yacht Club, and Delta Delta Delta sorority.
She is survived by her husband, William Maslin of Columbus, Mississipppi and three sons: William (and Nebbie) of Starkville, Mississippi, Thomas (and Cheryl) of Upper Marlboro, Maryland, and John (and Mary Ann) of Highland, Maryland. She is also survived by four grandchildren: William Maslin of Houston, Texas, Ginny Maslin of Houston, Texas, Michael Maslin of Highland, Maryland, and Melinda Robins (and Ken) of Beltsville, Maryland.
