LAUREL — Ruth Huddleston Ishee, of Sandersville, died Sunday, Aug. 14, 2011 at Archer Personal Care Home. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the Chapel. Rev. Jimmy Holder and Mike Powell will officiate. Burial will be in Florence Cemetery. Memory Chapel, of Laurel, is in charge of arangements.
Ishee, 90, was a member of Florence Congregational Methodist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Pearl Robert Ishee.
Ishee is survived by a daughter, Charlotte Ishee Green; her husband, Walter Bevill Green of Heidelberg; grandson Robert (Tony) Green and wife Sara of Starkville; granddaughter Kaye Green Lunsford and her husband, Courtney; great granddaughters Kathryn Green Ashmore and her husband Will of Prattville, Ala, and Lindsey Lunsford of Orange Grove, Cailf.; great grandsons Taylor and Mason Lunsford of Katy, Texas; brother Jay Burl Huddleston and his wife Charlene of Ovett; and host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Tony Green, Taylor Lunsford, Mason Lunsford, Courtney Lunsford, Mac Fuqua and Ed Armento. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 5-8 p.m. at Memory Chapel.
