Maxine Kilpatrick Atkins

Maxine Kilpatrick Atkins, 91, passed away on Aug. 11, 2011 at her home in Mathiston. She was a homemaker and member of Fellowship Baptist Church.
Mrs. Atkins was preceded in death by her husband, Edley Atkins; son, Obie Lee Atkins; parents, Obie Lee Kilpatrick and Rosie Baker Kilpatrick.
She is survived by her daughter, Martha Atkins Hodges of Mathiston; grandson, Todd Hodges of Louisville; granddaughter, Janet Hodges of Mathiston; and great grandchildren, Jeanne Claire Hodges of Senatobia and Cutter Cagle of Mathiston.
Visitation for Mrs. Atkins is scheduled for Sunday, Aug. 14 from 2-3 p.m. at Fellowship Baptist Church in Mathiston, with the funeral service immediately following. Rev. Ralph Cain will conduct the service. Burial will be in Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery.
Welch Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
