Rhett Hobart will be the guest speaker at the August 11th Breakfast with the Bulldogs.
Hobart was elected Mississippi State University Student Association (SA) President in March with 61 percent of the vote. He is a senior public relations major from Greenville.
He attended Washington School and was elected its student body president his senior year.
He has served on the Student Association since his freshman year.
After graduation, he plans to get a masters degree in Athletic Administration and hopes to become an athletic director.
Rhett and his fellow SA officers have been busy this summer preparing for a record breaking enrollment.
According to preliminary figures, the total MSU enrollment will exceed 20,000 for the first time. The freshman class is also expected to break last year’s enrollment record.
Rhett says, “MVNU2MSU is August 10 so I should have plenty of stories to share with the Breakfast group.”
The breakfast, which is held at the Starkville Café, is Dutch treat and starts at 7:30 a.m. To ensure adequate seating, reservations should be
made by August 9. RSVP to Michael Richardson at (662) 325-3659 or firstname.lastname@example.org. For more information about the event or to find out how to become active with the local Alumni Chapter, contact Carol Moss Read at email@example.com or call (662) 312-0637.
