EUPORA — Larry Sisk, 61, of Maben, retired Starkville Chief of Police, died Friday, August 5, 2011, in Maben.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 9 at Mathiston First Baptist Church with burial in the Clarkson Cemetery in Webster County. Visitation will be 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Monday, August 8 at Oliver Funeral Home.
Mr. Sisk served as the Starkville Chief of Police for 29 years. He was an Army veteran and a member of the Starkville Church of God.
He is survived by his wife Billie Sue "Susie" Sisk of Maben; two daughters, Jennifer (Thad) Fulghum of Corinth, and Denise (Jeremy) Patrick of Ely, England; two sons; Tim (Lorie) Sisk of Amory and Dennis Sisk of Grand Forks, N.D.; a sister; Linda Sisk Williams of Maben; two brothers, J. C. Sisk, and Stanley Sisk both of Maben; and six grandchildren.
Oliver Funeral Home of Eupora is in charge of all arrangements.
