KOSCIUSKO — Jody James, 58, died Sunday, June 26, 2011, at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland.
Visitation is today from 5-8 p.m. at Jordan Funeral Home in Kosciusko. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Salem United Methodist Church in Choctaw County.
Ms. James was born July 4, 1952 in Choctaw County to Doyle and Etta Mae James. She was employed with Cannon Cochran Management Services. She founded the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally and attended Vineyard Church in Flowood.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include a brother, Leland James and wife Barbara of Sturgis; an aunt, Margie Coleman of Choctaw County, and a very special friend, Arthur Russell. She also leaves a host of motorcycle friends.
