Nivin Faye Jackson Rhodes

Mrs. Nivin Faye Jackson Rhodes, 83, of Sturgis, passed away at Starkville Manor Nuring Home on Saturday, June 25, 2011.
She was a homemaker and a member of Sturgis Baptist Church. She was also one of the original organizers of the Sturgis Christmas Parade.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy A. Rhodes, Jr.
Mrs. Rhodes is survived by her brother, James D. Jackson of Sturgis; sister, Lucy Q. B. Hunt of Sturgis; and a host of nieces and nephews.
A visitation is scheduled for Monday, June 27, from 9-10 a.m. at Sturgis Baptist Church.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. at Sturgis Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Russell Mord. Burial will follow in the Sturgis City Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to the Sturgis Fire Department.
