project aim

June 12, 2011

Mentor Bill Daniel and Nigel Cheatham recently ended their year of mentoring at Henderson Ward Stewart with an ice cream float celebration.  Project AIM, part of the Safe Schools Healthy Students Initiative, placed 109 mentors in grades 3 through 8 of the Starkville School District this year.  Project AIM is administered through Family-Centered Programs and is entering its fourth year.  Efforts to recruit mentors for the fall are underway.  If you would like more information on volunteering to mentor a student, please contact Cathy Curtis at 418-4021 or at ccurtis@starkville.k12.ms.us.
