Three passengers were injured in an accident on Oktoc Road Saturday afternoon, according to Oktibbeha County Fire Coordinator, Kirk Rosenhan.
An SUV was traveling north on Oktoc Road when it lost control, rolled and ended up on the east side of the road. The vehicle was carrying five passengers total. Two occupants, an adult and a child, were ejected from the vehicle. A third passenger was temporarily trapped in the front passenger seat. All three were transported by ambulance to OCH Regional Medical Center.
District 5 Oktoc Volunteer Fire Department, Oktibbeha County Sheriff’s Office, and the OCH paramedics all responded to the scene. The Oktibbeha County Sheriff’s Office will be handling the investigation. Further details were not available at press time.
