Martha Huff Elmore

COLUMBUS — Martha Huff Elmore, age 84, of Columbus, formerly of Maben, passed away May 4, 2011, at Aurora Health and Rehabilitation of Columbus.  A memorial service will be held Saturday May 14, 2011 at 2 p.m. at the Maben United Methodist Church of Maben. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service. Memorial Funeral Home of Columbus, is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Elmore was born February 19, 1927, in Corinth, to the late Graham Cooper and Ida Mae Cunningham Huff.  She was a graduate of Kossuth High School of Alcorn County.  Mrs. Elmore retired from Sears and Roebuck after 35 years in Daytona Beach, Fla., and later moved to Maben, where she attended the Maben United Methodist Church. 
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Edgar Elmore, brothers, Graham Cooper Huff, Jr., and Lane Hart Huff, and sisters, Laura Mason, and Mae Atkins.
Survivors include her nephews, Graham Huff of Dyersburg, Tenn., and Hansford Huff of Corinth.
