Violet Marie Swindoll Fields

Violet Fields, age 88, passed away at Carrington Nursing Home in Starkville, on April 18, 2011.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 20, at Woodlawn Cemetery in Sumner.
Mrs. Fields was born on August 8, 1922, to Barney Lee and Lorene Guest Swindoll in Walthall. She was a homemaker and a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Starkville.
Mrs. Fields is survived by one daughter, Belinda (Tommy) McDaniel of Starkville; two sons, Bobby Fields of Sumner, and Hilton (Betty Gayle) Fields of New Iberia, La.; one sister, Juanita Williams of Everman, Texas; three brothers, Floyd (Margaret) Swindoll of Tutwiller, Tom (Eloise) Swindoll and Gerald (Debra) Swindoll, both of Hernando; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
