Student Profile: Julie Fine

Julie Fine is a sophomore at Mississippi State, studying marketing.
The Tennessee native’s parents both attended MSU so the choice of where to attend school was an easy one for her.
“Both of my parents went to MSU and we would always come to football games as a family and while we were on campus I would always say I was going to go to Mississippi State Vet School. Obviously I’m not in vet school now, but I still always wanted to come here for school,” Fine says.
Fine is a member of the Student Association Public Relations Committee, Campus Crusade for Christ and Chi Omega sorority. Her advice for any new student at MSU is based on the experience they would have if they attended Mississippi State and the home environment the school brings.
“I would tell any incoming freshmen that they would be crazy not to want to come here! I love Starkville too much to not try to convince everyone to come,” Fine says.
“Starkville is such a homey and laid-back town! I feel so comfortable here and with the people here.”
