Love Games set for Feb. 8 at Dawghouse
The Campus Activites Board announces that it will be hosting âLove Gamesâ at 7 p.m. Feb. 8 in the Dawghouse of the Colvard Student Union.
Campus Activites Board will be hosting its first ever âLove Games,â which is a pre-Valentineâs Day event.
This event is geared toward all couples, who feel they can ultimately pass the knowledge test. Couples will be asked a series of questions about their significant other, much like the Newlywed Game. Â
The couple with the most correct answers and the highest score will win the game. Any couple interested in participating must complete an application, which can be found in Suite 300 of the Colvard Student Union.
There will also be other games for those who are not in relationships. These games include a mock rendition of âYouâve got the hook upâ, where 3 male contestants will compete for the affection of one female, without her being able to see any of the guys.
This will simply be for fun and entertainment. Â Other activities include a half hour âmingleâ amongst all student who might want to get to know each other better. Those attending will be labeled with stickers pertaining to their current relationship status, which will allow those of single stature to mingle with each other. Â
âHave a Heart, Give a Heartâ event planned
The Campus Activites Board announces that it will be hosting âHave a Heart, Give a Heartâ at 3 p.m. Feb. 10 on the Drill Field between McCool Hall and Colvard Student Union.
The event will provide students with the chance to creat a valentine for their significant other or any others.
Students will be provided with a small box that they can decorate as a gift box for their special someone on Valentines Day. The paint and decorations will be provided for students to decorate their boxes or Valentine cards.
This event will provide students with a chance to show their romantic pal their creative sides by letting them decorate their own gift box to give as a Valentineâs Day gift.
Join CAB for an afternoon of enjoyment, influenced by the creativity of MSU. Â
Through this event and those that will follow, the Xampus Creations Committeee wants to provide everyone the chance to discover their creative side and to enjoy spending time with fellow students.
