Helms wins 2010 Sunburst Baby Pageant

Starkville's Alysa Helms recently won the Baby Pageant portion of the Sunburst Model Search and Baby Pageant at the Leigh Mall in Columbus.
Grandmother Angela Smith said this is a prestigious title to hold.
The winners of the preliminaries go to the state, then national pageants.
Sunburst gives over 3,000,000 in prizes and awards each year in 43 states, Canada and the Bahamas.
At the state level, the winners are introduce to modeling agencies throughout the nation, and awarded over $1,000 in cash on the stage.
Alysa Helms, daughter of Joshua Helms of Starkville, competed and won her title, plus Prettiest Hair, Prettiest Eyes and Best Attire. She also received $200 to be used at the state pageant, plus a photo shoot valued over $350 with photographer, Papa Dakis of Illinois.
