MABEN –– The funeral for Virginia Barton Harpole will be Monday at 10 a.m. at Maben United Methodist Church with burial will in the Maben Memorial Gardens. 
Visitation will be today from 6 to 8 p.m. at Welch Funeral Home in Maben.
Mrs. Harpole, 89, of Maben, passed away on Saturday, January 2011 at OCH Regional Medical Center in Starkville.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William P. Harpole; grandson, Robert Steve Bell; and great-granddaughters, Cassie McClain and Brandy Michelle Bell.
She is survived by her two daughters, Gwen Bell (Benny) Perkins of Pheba; and Barbara ‘Sissy’ Harpole (Jim) Butler of Brilliant, Ala.; two grandchildren, Bryce Shurden, and Frankie Salley; seven great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
