WEIR – Quanisha Doss scored a game-high 18 points, while Kelcie Lanier had a double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds as the East Oktibbeha Lady Titans defeated the Weir Lady Lions 52-44 in Choctaw County Friday night.
Weir jumped out to a 10-7 lead after the first quarter, but East Oktibbeha took a 22-18 advantage at halftime.
The Lady Titans pulled away with a strong second half.
Shondra Nichols and Savannah Blair had eight points each for East Oktibbeha, while Lydea Stevenson chipped in seven points.
Laretta Woodard led the Lady Lions with 15 points.

WEIR – The Titans were in control from start to finish to complete a sweep for East Oktibbeha on the road.
After taking an 18-10 lead after the first quarter, the Titans pushed the margin to 38-28 at halftime and 59-41 at the end of the third quarter.
Davonte Lucious poured in 20 points for East Oktibbeha, followed by Davalyn Bell with 12 points and Casey Neal with 11 points.
The Titans and Lady Titans are at home tonight for makeup games in the district with Montgomery County.
