Lola Fulgham Reed

The funeral for Lola Fulgham Reed will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Double Springs Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. The Revs. Martin L. Carden and Bud Reaves will conduct the service.
Visitation for Mrs. Reed will be today from 5 to 8 p.m. at Welch Funeral Home in Maben. 
Mrs. Reed, 83, passed away on Wednesday, January 12, 2011 at the Golden Living Retirement Home in Eupora.
She was a wife, loving mother, homemaker and member of Double Springs Baptist Church, where she was a Sunday school teacher for numerous years and known as “Mother of Missions in WMU.”
She is survived by her husband, Dero Reed of Maben; daughters, Linda (Jimmy) Springstead of Caledonia, Ginger (Martin L.) Carden of Mathiston, Shelia (Jerry) McCool of Verona, and Evelyn Reed of Maben; and grandchildren, Paula Hill, Michael Springstead, Mark Springstead, Stacey Carden, Vanessa Reaves, Charlsie Halford, Brad Glover, Chris Glover, Daniel Maddox and Marci McCool.
Mrs. Reed also loved being “Great Gran” to 16 great-grandchildren. 
Memorial donations may be made to the Double Springs Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
