ADAMSVILLE, Ala. –– The funeral for Virginia Carver will be today at noon in the New Horizon Memorial Chapel with burial in Creswtview Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Randy Beck will officiate.
Mrs. Carver, 85, of Adamsville, Ala., passed away December 17, 2010. She was a homemaker and a member of the Dora Church of God.
She was preceded in death by her husband, J.D. Carver and grandson, David Adam Carver.
Survivors include her sons, John W. (Linda S.) Carver, Bobby (Linda J.) Carver, Bill (the late Nancy) Carver and Wayne (Barbara) Carver; eight grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Visitation was Monday from 6 to 8 p.m.
