School reaches out to fire victims - Sudduth collecting donations for three families affected by recent home blazes

Starkville School District is organizing a relief effort for three families who lost their personal belongings in two fires within the last two weeks. wo fires have devastated three Starkville School District Families and Sudduth Elementary is leading the charge in a relief effort.

One of the fires occurred at roughly 4 a.m. Aug. 13 in a mobile home on Lawson Road, off of Blackjack Road. The other occurred at 11:36 a.m. Aug. 14 in Brookville Garden Apartments and displaced two district families.
