Longevity and Grace - Elizabeth Gwin leaves mark with 105 years of leadership

As recently as June, Elizabeth Gwin still had the power to captivate, even at 105 years old.

Her daughter, May Waggoner, said a group of high school students came to work on Gwin’s house that month. She said Gwin took the opportunity to tell them about how she procured the land for Camp Tik-A-Witha in Van Fleet for the Heart of the South Girl Scouts council, using money raised solely from Girl Scout cookie sales.
