As recently as June, Elizabeth Gwin still had the power to captivate, even at 105 years old.
Her daughter, May Waggoner, said a group of high school students came to work on Gwinâ€™s house that month. She said Gwin took the opportunity to tell them about how she procured the land for Camp Tik-A-Witha in Van Fleet for the Heart of the South Girl Scouts council, using money raised solely from Girl Scout cookie sales.
