Mississippi State has taken a bold move in choosing to build a brand new baseball stadium.
With the announcement Tuesday of the Dudy Noble Field Master Plan, it has brought some excitement and some concerns to the Bulldog family.
There was one thing for certain that something had to be done with the current Polk-DeMent Stadium at Dudy Noble Field.
Crowds are going to continue to come watch MSU play baseball in great numbers and when the Bulldogs have the type of seasons they've had the last two years, there will be chances for record attendance.
MSU squeezed 15,586 fans into the stadium on the Saturday of Super Bulldog Weekend when the Bulldogs defeated rival Ole Miss 6-5.
