MSU's Gordon wants Huddleston ready for goal keeper

August 7, 2014

Huddleston

Mississippi State soccer coach Aaron Gordon found out something last spring about former Starkville Academy athlete Tiffany Huddleston.
Huddleston, now a sophomore, is listed as a forward, midfielder and defender on the roster, but Gordon learned she could also be a pretty good goal keeper.
With starting goal keeper Meara Johnson out due to a concussion, Gordon decided to give Huddleston a try at the net during an exhibition match against Georgia State.
She held her own so well that it prompted the Georgia State coach to ask Gordon, "I thought you said your goalie was unavailable?"
