The summer workouts have come to a close for the Mississippi State Bulldogs.
Now the time has come for them to report for fall camp.
After finishing last season with three-straight victories, including an easy 44-7 win over Rice at the Liberty Bowl, the Bulldogs are eager to get the 2014 season underway.
MSU junior linebacker Benardrick McKinney said the leadership of the team got together during the offseason, discussed the goals for the upcoming season and how they were going to achieve them.
"It was about 11 of us," McKinney said during Southeastern Conference media days. "We said we need to do extra work if we want to compete with the big teams and go to Atlanta (for the SEC Championship Game). (Quarterback) Dak (Prescott) and I got the offense and defense together and said we are going to put a little more work in."
