Nancy Hargrove has watched Philippa Romen-Naegel pick up a uniquely Southern habit.

Hargrove is a member of Starkville Rotary Club, and Romen-Naegel is the club’s 2013-14 Rotary Youth Exchange (RYE) student from Germany. Hargrove said she had taken Romen-Naegel to several meetings and recently went to dinner with her, where she said she noticed the habit taking hold.
