Confidence is running a bit higher with Starkville Academy's Cole Andrews as he heads into his second year of coaching soccer.
"Thankfully we only lost one senior so I have a lot to work with," Andrews said. "In the offseason, I was really able to plan confidently."
Despite having a year of experience under his belt, the Lady Volunteers coach still spent much of his down time speaking with his former mentors and delving further into the game.
"(I) spent a lot of time thinking, reading and talking with people who had coached me in the past," Andrews said. "(It) didn't matter what sport they coached me in. I was asking them questions about what to do to get better or to train."
