No vacancy.
If you tried to book a hotel room over the last couple of weekends here in Starkville, that might have been the message you received.
Having full hotels when Mississippi State is not playing sports can be strange for the area, but if one had taken a visit out to McKee Park, the answer for the lack of rooms was quite apparent.
Over the Fourth of July weekend, the Starkville Baseball Association was host to the 7-year-old Dizzy Dean South State Tournament while just last weekend the SBA was at the reins of the 12-year-old North State Tournament and on both occasions, Starkville saw an increase of positive attention.
