SPRD programs keep staff working through summer months

July 17, 2014

There is never a dull moment when it comes to working at the Starkville Sportsplex.
Starkville Park and Recreation sports coordinator William Pochop knows that all too well because as one season wraps up another is just beginning.
Right now the Sportsplex is playing home to adult softball leagues, which Pochop said are one of the facilities most popular sports.
“We started our adult summer league off without a hitch,” Pochop said. “We currently have 39 teams registered which is up for last year so that is good.”
