Turner of SHS has an All-Star quality

July 16, 2014

Turner

There are certain players who exhibit an All-Star quality.
Starkville High School tennis coach Rob Fyke believes he has been fortunate to have had one of those players in Emily Turner.
Turner will be one of the players from Mississippi that will be participating in the Mississippi Association of Coaches All-Star match today in Jackson.
“If there has been a player that deserved an All-Star selection, Emily is the one,” Fyke said. “She has been the heart and soul of the team since I have been at Starkville which is four years. Emily is a competitor, a winner and a good leader. She is a very, very strong selection and it is a well-deserved selection.”
