Starkville Police Department is seeking suspects in an alleged commercial burglary of a riding lawn mower and portable generator over the weekend.

SPD says in a press release that officers responded to the report of burglary Monday, but the burglary reportedly happened between Friday afternoon and Monday morning at the Oktibbeha County Bus Shop at 220 Gillespie Street.

The mower allegedly taken is a red and black Troy-Bilt ZTR 25-horsepower 50-inch zero-turn lawn mower with the serial number 14ARCACP011. Also allegedly taken was a Coleman Powermate premium portable 6250-watt generator.

SPD asks anyone with information on the location of these items or the identities of any suspects to contact the department at 662-323-4131.
