Things just "didn't bounce" the right way for the Starkville American All-Star team.
After fighting right until the end the Americans dropped a 17-9 game to Newton County in game two of the Dizzy Dean South State Tournament.
"This crew has been very, very good," Starkville Americans coach Jeff Overstreet said. "To be 6-years-old, they have played hard and we will come out here and play another one and this team will grow."
