Have you attended a Mississippi State men’s basketball game over the last few years?
If so, chances are you have caught a glimpse of Scotty Johnson hanging out on the sidelines or even tending to an injured athlete.
Since 2002, Johnson has spent his time as the head athletic trainer for the Bulldog basketball team, while also assisting with the men’s and women’s golf programs and over those years, he has accumulated some very fond memories.
“One of the things that really stands out is getting to know the athlete’s as people and not just the jersey they wear,” Johnson said. “There are countless stories from the things they say and do along the road. It is just fun to be a part of their athletic career.”
