MSU works to phase out Windows XP

On April 8, 12 years after its launch, Microsoft ended security updates and technical support for the Windows XP operating system.

Until then, security updates helped protect Windows XP computers from viruses, spyware, and other dangerous software. As a result of Microsoft ending these updates, businesses around the world have redoubled efforts to upgrade to more recent operating systems and hardware that can handle them.
