Click It or Ticket raises seatbelt safety awareness

Law enforcement agencies across the state, including those in Starkville and Oktibbeha County, increased surveillance for unbuckled motorists during Mississippi’s annual Click It or Ticket campaign. For two weeks, law enforcement agencies across Mississippi have increased supervision for unbuckled motorists as the Mississippi Office of Highway Safety carried out its annual Click It or Ticket campaign.

Click it or Ticket is a federal seatbelt safety awareness program endorsed by the National Highway Traffic Safety Association (NHTSA). The NHTSA provides grant funding to states to distribute to law enforcement departments.
