County schools prep for facility upgrades

Oktibbeha County School District took some steps to prepare for implementing the Commission on Starkville Consolidation School District Structure’s plan for a July 2015 merger with the Starkville School District.

OCSD Conservator Margie Pulley approved the creation of an interest-bearing account for proceeds from a 3-mil note the county will use to raise funds for facility improvement needs to prepare for the consolidation.
