Choctaw County preparing for second year

June 1, 2014

ACKERMAN – In its first year since consolidation, Choctaw County saw great success on the football field.
The Chargers ended the season with a spot in the Class 3A playoffs and saw a couple players take their talents to the collegiate level. Now it is time for the second year and coach Adam Dillinger expects the growth and success to keep coming.
In order to make that happen, the Chargers have spent the spring focused on incorporating new athletes into the scheme in order to fill shoes left by departing seniors while also getting the returning veterans into top notch shape.
