LAFAYETTE, La. – The Mississippi State Bulldogs have been known for their bullpen the last few years.
The Bulldogs have shown why they have been so dominant at the Lafayette (La.) Regional.
The MSU bullpen has allowed just one base runner in 9 1/3 innings worked this weekend in a 5-2 win over San Diego State and a 3-1 victory over Jackson State on Saturday.
Sophomore right hander Myles Gentry tossed four perfect innings against the Aztecs on Friday and junior closer Jonathan Holder allowed just one base hit to the 17 batters he faced against the Tigers.
