Mark Alexander’s departure from Starkville Academy hurts him a bit.
When it came to making a homecoming, it was something Alexander couldn't pass up on.
Having grown up in Jackson, the former Volunteers coach is truly returning to a familiar place when he joins the Madison-Ridgeland Academy girls’ basketball staff.
“I am from Jackson,” Alexander said. “I grew up there my whole life. My mother still lives there so being closer to her and being back in my hometown are two big things.”
