Dorothy Wamble, “Dot”, age 92, passed away on May 23, 2014 at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, Mississippi.  Mrs. Wamble was a homemaker and has been a member of the First Baptist Church in Starkville since 1955.  She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and the OCH Auxillary.
A visitation for Mrs. Wamble will be held at Welch Funeral Home in Starkville MS on Tuesday, May 27 form 9:00 - 10:00 a.m.  A grave side service will follow at Memorial Gardens Park at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev. Chip Stevens and Rev. Clifton Curtis officiating.
Mrs. Wamble survivors  includes a son, Ed Wamble of Kosciusko; a daughter, Kay Wamble of Kosciusko;  grandchildren, Karen Taylor and Ryan of Starkville, David Wamble and Hayley of Oxford;  great grandchildren, Mikala Taylor, Anna Hayden Taylor, Logan Taylor, and Dout Wamble and J. D. Wamble. 
She was precede in death by her parents Austin Brown and Dorothy Cain and her husband, Dout Wamble, Sr.
Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Starkville Children’s Building Fund, 106 East Lampkin Street, Starkville, MS 39759, or The First Baptist Church of Kosciusko Love Mission Fund, 210 N. Huntington, Kosciusko, MS 39090.
