MSU's Pirtle sees streak end, while Heck, Bradford keep their's going

HOOVER, Ala. – Brett Pirtle has been superior at reaching base when the Mississippi State Bulldogs play a Southeastern Conference opponent. 
He had a 63-game streak in that area, but that came to an end in a 5-1 loss to top-seeded Florida in the SEC Tournament Friday night.
He had reached base safely in 39-straight games this season, but he went 0-for-2.
Seth Heck extended his hitting streak to 19 games and his reach base safely streak to 26 games when he reached on an infield single in the first inning.
C.T. Bradford followed him with a single to left to extend his hitting steak to 13 games.
