MSU baseball roster shows Alabama natives

HOOVER, Ala. – There are nine players on the Mississippi State baseball roster who call the state of Alabama home.
Those Bulldogs have returned to their home state this week for the Southeastern Conference Tournament in Hoover, Ala.
It was a homecoming for Wednesday night's starting pitcher Trevor Fitts.
Fitts is a native of Helena, which is only minutes away from Hoover. He attended Pelham High School.
The other players on MSU's roster from Alabama are Ben Bracewell (Chelsea), Matthew Britton (Cullman), Jake Vickerson (Tuscaloosa), Austin Sexton (Huntsville), Levi Mintz (Cedar Bluff), Glenn Irby (Florence) and Dylan Ingram (Pike Road).

Mississippi State has put together an impressive run over the past three years with 128 victories.
The Bulldogs won 129 games from 2011-13 with the best previous three-year stretch being 131 victories from 1997-99.
